So there are these aliens who kidnap the FF because a meteor is going to smash into their planet and kill them all and they need the FF to save them. A shrinking gas is invented and used on the people so that they’ll all fit into the one of two space ships they have but I’m left wondering … Why not just use the shrinking stuff on the meteor that’s going to crash into the planet? Why shrink an entire planet’s population and then troll them with the promise an enlarging gas?
Answer: Reed Richards is kind of a dick.
