Another great re-design (and this time one that’s official) is Poison Ivy’s new look in DC’s new Birds of Prey title. I will admit to being a fan of her classic “lady in a leaf bodysuit” look but this is just so creepy and just fantastically underlines the fact that she’s not entirely human. At this point, and we’re five issues into BoP, I’m not sure if that’s a suit or if that’s just what she looks like now. She’s etched a note into her arm, the leaves have changed color to reflect the surrounding foliage, she recoups in forests … She might be more plant than human and that’s awesome.

I love her eyes, too. Such a great, finishing detail.
